Still don't know?? hahah well the answer is......."oatmeal"!! Can't believe it eh?? Oatmeal is probably something that most people dislike~ But it's actually really good for your skin!!You might be surprised to learn that oatmeal is not only for breakfast but is one of the best natural treatments for dry skin.

It can be used to make different kinds of products such as the following :-

PRODUCTS
1)Cleanser
2)Facial scrub
3)Smoothing facial mask

So what are the benefits from oatmeal?? Well it is an excellent multi-purpose skin care treatment! Not only that it helps to relieve dryness but also restoring your natural moisture balance to heal minor irritations! Using oatmeal as a skin cleanser helps of hydrate and soothe skin irritation (reduce discomfort).
So what does it actually do???
When it is used as a cleanser, the oatmeal absorbs and removes surface dirt and impurities while providing very gentle exfoliation, leaving skin smooth, soft, and clean, without any other chemicals. As for a facial scrub, oatmeal gently but effectively removes dead skin cells, to reveal softer, smoother looking skin~

INSTRUCTIONS :-
Oatmeal Facial Cleanser & Scrub: Pour a spoonful of  ground oatmeal into your palm, and add a little water to make a paste. Apply all over your face and throat and massage thoroughly onto your skin. Then rinse. Follow with your personal favourite moisturiser.

As a facial mask, oatmeal deep cleanses pores without irritating and drying out skin.Using this facial mask provides the bonus of a natural, healthy glow.

INSTRUCTIONS :-
Oatmeal Facial Mask: Pour 2 spoonfuls of ground oatmeal into your palm, then add a little water to make a paste. (For a more moisturizing mask, use milk instead of water.) Apply it all over your face and throat and leave on skin for about 5 minutes. Rinse it off and follow with your personal favourite moisturiser.

Polka Dots~

Hmm....i think i'm starting to get obsess with nail art~ Recently i've been watching a Japanese tv show which involves beauty and fashion. And as we all know, nail art is getting popular throughout the world (especially asia) and it is now part of an icon for the girls today. I realised that in the Japanese fashion nowadays, nail art is becoming part of the essentials! (Nail art is now becoming just as important as make-up!!)
I have always adored acrylic nail art since young. However as i used to play violin, my nails have always been short, so i never really bothered playing about with my nails~ But recently since I quit violin, i decided to grow my nails again and have some fun with it.
This is what i ended up having on my nails :)

I took some photos while painting it, so hope you will like my wee nail tutorial inspired by marshmallows~

First apply a thin coat of clear nail varnish. This helps to protect ur nails and it is also easier to remove the  colours afterwards :)

Then apply 2 coats of white nail varnish on the 1st (thumb), 3rd and 4th nail. Remember wait till the first coat dry before applying the second coat~

Again apply 2 coats, but this time apply pink nail varnish on 2nd (index) and 4th (pinky) nail. Repeat the same process on the other hand.

After  pour a small amount of white varnish into a small container.

Take a kirby (aka. bobby pin) and stretch it apart. This makes it easier for you to create cute polka dots on your nails. Using one end of the kirby dip it into the small amount of white nail varnish.

Using the kirby, gently touch the pink nails to create big cute polka dots. The contrast between pink and white creates a cute girly style and it is suitable for any style of clothing. You could also apply pink dots on white nails, however in my opinion i think it will just look too much. (Less is more)

Finally, apply a top coat over it. Also remember to remove all the extra nail vanish on your skin and near the edges of your nails. Make sure its nice and clean ;)

To the Pictures...

I went to the movies with Rachel today and guess what we decided to watch!?....yes thats right "Change Up"! Despite the fact that it is sucha sick movie, i must say it is hilarious!! I practically laughed the whole way through XD

But really...honestly..i dont think this should be a 15+! Its more like a 18+ ~ Its too dirty and there is way too much swear words and boobs involved! (Theres one point that i doubted if im actually watching porn in the cinema with my mate = ='') But overall it is quite a funny movie and it reminds me of the "Freaky Friday" from the walt disney...if you guys still remember??

It's a great movie! Always loved it :) i even bought the dvd when it first came out!! haha yeah that was years ago...the movie was released in 2003 so woahh...long long time ago!
We then went to chill in Starbucks, it was really relaxing as we haven't seen each other for the whole summer! We had a wee catch up and everything went great~ Rachel and i have been good friends since 3rd year :) Although shes one of those people who can never make up their minds, she's really nice and i just love her really <3 She never makes me feel lonely in school (yeah not the popular kid haha) but yeah what can i say... "it's easy to make friends but it's hard to have real friends" To me, the number of friends aren't important~ Because you have to realised that, the ones that don't accept who you are AREN'T your real friends and it's worthless for you to waste time on them. So next time if anyone pressurise you to do something that you don't want to?? You know who's not your real friends ;) be smart and think!

today on the train :)
